Gifts to The Tucson Guitar Society are most appreciated. In fact, donors and members are essential to our continuing operation and to funding the help we offer to needy students. Donors are recognized in concert programs and in our website unless anonymity is requested. Donor levels:

The Tucson Guitar Society is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization under the rules of the IRS, and donations are deductible to the extent allowable by law.

We are pleased to announce that the Sundays in the Garden Fall Series will kick off in October, 2023!

Established in 2009, the Tucson Guitar Society Orchestra (TGSO) brings together community members, college-level, and professional guitarists, providing a stage for guitar aficionados from all levels to share the joy of music-making. The requirements for joining include the ability to read music and the desire to play together.

Each month at the Woods Library TGS hosts guitarists in an open mic setting that is free and open to the public. Performers of all ages and skill levels are welcome and may include professionals, teachers, and current and former university students, playing classical, folk, jazz, and original compositions on a variety of stringed instruments. The Tucson Guitar Society is committed to enhancing the guitaristic experience of Tucsonans, which is why most of the artists who perform for our international artists series also teach masterclasses that are largely open to the community.
